Angela Suthrave, co-host of Concept to Care, is described as a visionary and builder with a passion for improving patient care. Beginning her journey with a focus on nutrition and healthcare, she became a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, driven by altruistic motives. Transitioning into product management, Angela contributed to the growth of companies like Evolent Health and Somatus, specializing in tools for care management and population health. Now serving as VP of Product Management at Accolade, she oversees a range of frontline care products while advising startups in product management and go-to-market strategy. Off-duty, Angela cherishes family time with her husband and two boys, fueled by coffee and guided by her love for adventure. With Concept to Care, Angela aims to foster a community of innovators and entrepreneurs in health tech, sharing insights to enhance healthcare delivery.
Omar Mousa, a first-generation Arab American from Arlington, Virginia, is introduced as the co-host of Concept to Care. Raised by hardworking parents who instilled in him values of diligence and kindness, Omar pursued a career in technology and healthcare. Having grown and scaled companies like Propeller Health and the mental health unicorn, Cerebral, Omar currently serves as Vice President of Product at Ventricle Health, where he shapes the future of heart failure care. Beyond his professional role, Omar advises startups and enjoys chess, coffee, and outdoor adventures as a digital nomad. Eager to share engaging stories with listeners, Omar aims to foster a learning community alongside co-host Angela, promising an enjoyable experience on the podcast.
